StarBill
In developmentInvoicing with e-invoicing built in, gapless numbering and automatic tax-authority submission
Part of Finance
An invoicing platform built around Romanian tax obligations. Since January 2026, electronic invoicing is mandatory for B2B, B2C and B2G with a five-working-day deadline — StarBill makes that a step of issuing rather than a separate operation someone can forget.
Modules and capabilities
-
Invoice issuing
Numbering guaranteed to be gapless, even when two requests arrive at once — a compliance requirement, not a technical detail.
-
Tax authority submission
The invoice goes out in the required electronic format as part of issuing. Migrated history is never resubmitted by accident.
-
PDF documents
The invoice rendered as a PDF with a stable appearance over time — an old document still looks the same years later.
-
Customers and products
The data you reuse on every issue, with per-line VAT for mixed-regime cases.
-
Public invoice links
Every invoice gets a link the customer can open without an account. Issued links stay valid permanently.
-
Notifications to other systems
Other applications can be told when an invoice is issued or paid, through guaranteed delivery rather than calls that can be lost.
What sets it apart
-
E-invoicing as a flow, not an export
Submission is part of issuing. There is no manual step to forget and no fine that follows from forgetting it.
-
Numbering that holds under concurrency
Two invoices issued in the same second cannot produce a gap or a duplicate — the classic failure of invoicing under load.

Price on request
Pricing depends on user count and the modules you need, so I discuss it case by case.
