LiveJob orders, VIN-based history and customers notified automatically when the car is ready
Part of Auto workshops
A management system for auto workshops: open the job order, decode the VIN so vehicle data fills itself in, keep the intervention history per vehicle and notify the customer by SMS. It installs on a phone for work on the shop floor, and keeps each workshop's data fully separate.
Modules and capabilities
-
Job orders
Open, track and close a job, with the operations performed, the parts used and the mechanic assigned.
-
Vehicles and VIN decoding
Enter the VIN and the vehicle details fill themselves in. History stays attached to the vehicle, so it survives a change of owner.
-
Customers and companies
A customer record with all their vehicles and interventions, plus tax data lookup for business customers.
-
SMS notifications
An automatic message when the car is ready or a service is due. Sending goes through the workshop's own modem rather than credits bought from an external provider.
-
Servicing and return visits
Automatic scheduling of reminders for the next service, so the workshop does not lose the customer between visits.
-
Mechanics and assignment
Who is working on what, with visibility over the workshop's load.
-
Reports and documents
Activity reports and PDF documents, ready to hand to the customer.
What sets it apart
-
History belongs to the car, not the customer
Interventions stay attached to the VIN, so history survives a change of owner — exactly what matters on a second-hand car.
-
SMS through the workshop's own modem
Messages go out through a local modem, with no subscription to an SMS provider and no per-message cost.
-
Installs on a phone
Built as an installable web app — the mechanic uses it on the shop floor, with no app-store install.
